Dr Mani Reehal

Principal Dentist

Dr Mani Reehal is the Principal Dentist at Highview Dental Practice. He qualified in 2012 and has since developed extensive experience across all aspects of general dentistry, with particular interests in oral surgery, root canal treatment and orthodontics.

Mani is passionate about providing high-quality dentistry in a calm, friendly and approachable environment. He particularly enjoys helping nervous patients feel at ease and takes pride in making dental treatment as comfortable and straightforward as possible.

As Principal Dentist, Mani is committed to developing Highview into a modern, patient-focused practice where excellent clinical care is combined with a genuinely personal approach.

Dr Edmund Acheampong

Associate Dentist

Dr Acheampong graduated in 1995 and has built up extensive experience across restorative dentistry, primary dental care and oral surgery, having worked within the dental hospitals in Newcastle upon Tyne, Leeds and Birmingham. In 1997, following further examinations, he was awarded the Licence in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

He has particular interests in orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry and dental implantology, and is a member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the British Dental Association.

Having previously been the Principal Dentist and owner of Highview Dental Practice, Dr Acheampong has cared for generations of patients within the local community. Following the practice’s change in ownership, he chose to remain part of the Highview team - providing an important sense of continuity for long-standing and new patients alike.

Denise Baynham

Practice Manager

Denise joined the team in 2019 and brings over 36 years of experience within dentistry. Having qualified as a dental nurse in 1999, she went on to further her professional development, gaining her qualification in dental radiography in 2014.

With more than 25 years of experience in dental management, Denise now oversees the day-to-day running of both Highview Dental Practice and Dovedale Dental Practice. She plays a central role across both practices, supporting our clinical and administrative teams and helping to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Denise is passionate about maintaining high standards of patient care and creating a welcoming, well-organised environment for both patients and the team. Her extensive experience and knowledge of dentistry make her an invaluable point of support across both practices.

Outside of work, Denise enjoys spending time with her two grown-up children, catching up with friends and making the most of her time with family.

Gemma Jones

Dental Nurse

Gemma is our longest-standing dental nurse and has been a valued part of the Highview team since leaving school. Her loyalty and commitment over the years mean she knows Highview, our patients and our team incredibly well.

Passionate about dental nursing, Gemma particularly enjoys working alongside the clinicians providing orthodontic treatment and seeing patients progress through their treatment journey. She also has a keen interest in infection prevention and control, and takes a leading role in maintaining the high standards that keep the practice running safely and smoothly.

Megan Wilkes

Dental Nurse

Megan qualified as a dental nurse in 2023 and is passionate about providing high-quality patient care. She enjoys supporting the dental team and helping patients feel relaxed and comfortable throughout their visit.

Her friendly and caring approach allows her to build positive relationships with patients of all ages, and she takes pride in creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels at ease.

Abbie Richards

Dental Nurse

Abbie’s passion lies in ensuring patients receive safe, comfortable and high-quality care, as well as a positive patient experience. Her interest in dentistry began when she had orthodontic treatment herself as a teenager.

Outside of work, she enjoys exploring new places through travel and socialising with friends.

Jaz Khatkar

Dental Nurse

Jaz has been a valued member of the team for over three years and has become a familiar and friendly face to many of our patients.

As a dental nurse, Jaz works closely alongside our clinicians to ensure patients feel comfortable, reassured and well looked after throughout their visits. She takes pride in helping the surgery run smoothly and particularly enjoys getting to know our patients and helping those who may feel nervous or anxious about visiting the dentist feel more at ease.

More recently, you may also see Jaz spending more time on reception. She really enjoys the friendly interaction this brings and loves being able to welcome patients, have a chat and help them with any questions they may have. Her experience as a dental nurse also means she has an excellent understanding of the clinical side of the practice, which is invaluable when helping patients at the front desk.

Outside of the practice, Jaz enjoys spending time with her family and friends and making the most of her time away from work.
