Highview Dental Practice
Website Privacy Policy
Last updated 13 October 2026.
1. Who we are
Highview Dental Practice ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. You can contact us at The Grand Junction, 1 High Holborn, Sedgley, Dudley, West Midlands, DY3 1SR, by phone on 01902 675 801 or by email at [email protected].
This policy covers information you give us through this website. If you are a patient, our patient privacy notice explains how we look after your dental records.
2. What we collect
When you send us an enquiry using the contact form or our chat assistant, we collect:
- your name, phone number and email address
- the type of enquiry or options you choose, and your message
- where you heard about us, if you choose to tell us
- confirmation that you agreed to us using your details to respond
Please don’t include detailed medical information in the form or chat. If you do share health information, we will only use it to respond to your enquiry and to provide your care.
3. How and why we use it
We use your details only to respond to your enquiry - for example to answer a question, book or arrange an appointment, or register you as a patient.
Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form or confirming in the chat, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. Where your enquiry leads to treatment, we process your information to provide healthcare. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.
We do not use your details for marketing, and we never sell or share them for anyone else’s marketing.
4. Who we share it with
We only share your information with trusted service providers who help us run this website and deliver your message securely to our inbox, such as our website and form hosting providers. Our contact form and chat assistant are protected by Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam (see our cookie policy). These providers act on our instructions and must keep your information secure.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for no longer than we need to deal with them. If you become a patient, your information becomes part of your dental record, which we keep in line with NHS and professional record-keeping guidance.
6. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
- ask us to delete your information, or to restrict how we use it
- object to us using your information, and withdraw your consent at any time
To use any of these rights, please contact us using the details above.
7. Complaints
If you’re unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to put things right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
